PROGRAM (CALENDAR)


Unless otherwise noted, general meetings and events (listed below) are held
on the 1st Wednesday of each month; from 7:00pm - 9:00pm; at the
First Baptist Church, 121 Manchester St., Nashua NH.

Members of the public are welcome to attend any meeting for a $5.00 fee. For information about our club, please visit our Membership page. Membership is only $20 a year, and includes a monthly newsletter. We welcome new members.


Date 2010 Events
March 3rd, 2010 Program:   Worm Composting
Speaker:   Sister Cecile Leclerc, PMA

Sister Cecile Leclerc will present the basics of the "Home Vermicomposting System" which has amazing benefits for plants. Sister Cecile has been a science teacher all of her religious life, teaching all levels, from K-8, High School and College. She has a B.A. in Biology and Education, an M.S. and an M.S. in Environmental Studies. She currently teaches at P.M.A. in Hudson, where she piloted a program on Environmental Education, guided students in building a 22' bridge over wetlands, and established a recycling program. She has written a book (currently awaiting publication) on Land, Air and Water Pollution that is geared for teachers of Environmental Education. Come and learn how worm composting can improve your garden.
